COMPRESSOR APPLICATIONS
GPE has expertise in designing and packaging gas compression systems for
- Wellhead boosters - boost from
wellhead pressure to pipeline compressor's suction. Low and varying suction conditions, low discharge pressure, low to high flow,
wet or dry gases. Screws or recips are suitable
- Turbine fuel gas - compress wet or dry gases to turbine burner pressure.
Recips or screws are well suited.
- Vapour recovery (VRU) - heavy wet gases, low pressure (atmospheric or less), very low flow.
Screws and liquid rings cope well, vanes can be used
- Process compression - hydrogen and other speciality gases. Any type
of compressor, low to high pressures and flows
- Air injection - high pressure, high flow. Centrifugals or recips.
- Refrigeration
plant - screws, centrifugal, recips or scrolls.
- Blowers - low pressure and relatively high flow. Specialized centrifugal.
