GPE can provide the following engineering services for oil and gas customers:
- Process engineering - package studies, FEED studies, process simulation (VMG); PFD, P&ID development; equipment, piping, control valve, PSV sizing; control and operating narratives; participate in HAZOP, SIL etc. meetings; review existing drawings, calculations and documents
- Mechanical engineering - package / equipment layout studies; materials selection and specification; BoM and datasheet development; pressure vessel and heat exchanger design / review; pipe stress analysis (CESAR II); existing model, drawing and document reviews
- Instrumentation engineering - device selection and specification, prepare BoM, datasheets; shutdown keys (SDK), I/O lists
- Electrical engineering - PLC selection, drawings; building electrical (heating, lights, F&G etc.); power - MCC, VFD, cabling etc.
- Structural engineering - skid beam selection, lift point design, vessel and column supports; foundation loads, anchor bolt selection
